Studio Adorn Handmade Jewellery

Studio Adorn Jewellery was founded in 2017 by local jeweller Bonnie Doonan. After spending a couple of years travelling around the world drawing inspiration from India to Australia Bonnie returned home to her roots in Norwich. Shortly after she started making jewels from her kitchen table, with a background in Interior Architecture Bonnie has been able to combine her two passions in life and grow Studio Adorn to what it is today.

Since the birth of her daughter Isla in 2017 Bonnie has been able to grow Studio Adorn into a confident and well loved brand that has won design awards, stocked shops globally and made jewels for over 2,000 people. Due to this success Bonnie has been able to move her fledgling business from her kitchen table to its very own studio in the heart of Norwich. 

In 2019 Bonnie welcomed her son Sonny and now hires a collective of 3 female creatives to help with the day to day running of Studio Adorn Jewellery. Inspired by minimal aesthetics and design classics simplicity is key within the design process. With ever evolving inspirations and new ideas Studio Adorn regularly releases new collections of jewellery. Our online jewellery shop features hand made rings, necklaces, earrings and more - perfect for birthday gifts, anniversary gifts or simply to treat yourself. Every piece of jewellery by Studio Adorn is hand crafted to order by our team - Bonnie, Lauren and Brogan.

Originally starting online with our Etsy store we have now created our own online jewellery store to make it even easier for customers to order unique and sustainable jewellery online. 

The Bench Project

In 2020 Bonnie launched the sister brand Bench Project as a place to learn, make and create with regular jewellery making courses and workshops on offer in the heart of Norwich. Their workshops cover a range of different jewellers techniques from wax carving to simple silversmithing often hosted by talented local jewellers and open to a full range of abilities.  

Sustainable Jewellery

Sustainable and ethical jewellery is at the heart of Studio Adorn's ethos - we work with sustainable materials to ensure there is no waste whilst also creating beautiful and unique pieces. Our Zero Waste Jewellery collection was created to reuse off cuts from our hand made jewellery making process. This collection uses our already recycled scraps making our jewellery even more eco friendly and sustainable.

Atwin

In 2021 Bonnie and lifelong friend Sarah Brown founded Atwin - a consciously curated, independent womenswear and lifestyle store. Sarah is a clothes designer who’s studio is above Atwin and she is available for customisable orders. Bonnie also takes made to order jewellery requests in store. Atwin store is based in Norwich Lanes and is just round the corner from Studio Adorn.
